Mary Fischer's ceramic architectural forms are influenced by the timelessness of indigenous, especially desert, architecture as well as the use of concrete by contemporary architects. Surface treatments and forms change over time as different things capture the artist's interests.
Patricia Sannit uses mostly found and repurposed clay to create forms that refer to both our collective art history and the stratigraphy of the earth. Her work is influenced by archaeology, geology, industry and the commonality of the human experience through time and across cultures.
